BEACHES OF SAN DIEGO

INTRO
Many visitors to San Diego expect to be on the beach, when it is actually surrounded by the harbor. The nearest beaches are Coronado over the bridge or across the harbor with the ferry, or at the end of Highway 8 over to Ocean beach.

The beaches can be grouped into 4 geogrpahic areas-
